General Rules and Procedures: Need for Official Baccalaureate and Other Transcripts

Prior to August 31st of the year in which a student starts law school, she/he must submit a final official transcript showing the complete record and certification of her/his baccalaureate degree and any subsequent post-baccalaureate degree(s). These transcripts must be sent directly to the School of Law Registrar from each degree granting institution.

PLEASE NOTE: Transcripts submitted through LSDAS are sent to law schools as copies, not originals, so it is necessary for a student to arrange for an official copy of the final transcript(s) to be sent directly from the school(s) to the office of the School of Law Registrar.
