China Program Fees
Housing
All single students can be accommodated in the dormitory of the The Beijing Center. Students accompanied by spouses or family must make special arrangements. All dormitory rooms are large, apartment-style, double rooms with washroom and kitchenette facilities and air conditioning. Students may indicate a choice of roommate; otherwise, a roommate will be assigned. No overnight guests are permitted on campus. The cost per person in a double room is $1,500 for the four weeks of the program (May 23 - June 20, 2009). The price includes Internet access to e-mail for the duration of your stay in Beijing, and many other amenities on campus. The full amount of housing cost must be paid no later than April 6, 2009.
2009 Tuition and Fees
The tuition is $662.50 per credit hour. Students must register for 4 credit hours. Additionally, there is an activity fee assessed each student of $950 for the four-week session. A deposit of $450 is due no later than March 19, 2009 (deposit due with application), which will be credited toward the activity fee. The activity fee covers several meals, a credit allowance at the convenience store, numerous guided tours to the major attractions of Beijing, an interpreter and cell phone contact for local travel assistance, transportation to and from the airport, and a three day, guided tour, trip to Xi'an, including roundtrip airfare. Loyola University Chicago must receive full payment, including housing, tuition and fees no later than April 6, 2009.
