Mock Trial Competitions

The Philip H. Corboy Fellowship Program is a program committed to enhancing trial advocacy skills by participating in the National Mock Trial Competition program. The team is comprised of ten second- or third-year students, who are chosen through try-outs at the end of each school year. Each year the team competes in four competitions, two in fall and two in spring. These competitions range from civil to criminal trials in which the students act as advocates and as witnesses. The Fellowship comes with a stipend and the opportunity to earn a total of six un-graded credits.

Students may also try out for positions on the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team, a team which participates in the NBLSA's Mock Trial Competition each year.
