ILRS offers the opportunity for American Law Students to complete of a one-month internship in Israel at one of the top leading firms in the Israel.
Ilan Charcon Law Offices is in land and real estate development. The firm provides expertise and know-how in the full range of land legal issues including matters relating to the Israel Land Administration, building regulations, planning, zoning and expropriations, real estate and land transactions, contracts, tenders, PFI and BOT infrastructure projects, banking law and debt collection, and land and real estate litigation.
The firm was founded in 1997 by Ilan Charcon, one of Israel's preeminent legal experts on land matters and a former legal counsel in the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office where he represented the State in numerous litigation cases concerning land issues and handled negotiations in property transactions. Ilan Charcon currently serves as Chairman of the Israel Bar Association's Land, Real Estate and Contracts Committee. He leads a team of nearly 20 lawyers and legal experts at the firm's headquarters at the heart of Tel Aviv's financial district. Ilan Charcon and his associates are fluent in Hebrew, English, French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic.
Ilan Charcon represents the Israel Lands Administration, government offices, municipal, local and regional authorities, kibbutzim and moshavim, private developers and contractors, companies and private individuals as well as mortgage banks.
