The ABA Section of Antitrust Law, in conjunction with the Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, is assembling a first-rate group of leading scholars, current and former enforcement officials, and practitioners to examine the different institutional frameworks for implementing competition law and policy. Special guest lecturers Robert Burns and William Pizzi will deliver this year's lecture. Robert Burns is a law professor at Northwestern University, where he teaches Advocacy and Professionalism. He is the author of the book The Death of the American Trial. William Pizzi is law professor at the University of Colorado Law School and one of the country's most distinguished schoolars in comparative criminal procedure. His book, Trial Without Truth, a critique of our criminal trial system, was published in 1999.
