 ENTERING JD STUDENTS

Financial Aid Awards for entering JD students are compiled in early March.  The awards are done in the order which we have received the FAFSA.  All candidates admitted to the JD program are under consideration for the Merit Scholarships and /or need-based Law Alumni Grants.  These funds, if awarded, will be in the financial aid award sent to the student.

CURRENT JD STUDENTS

Financial Aid awards for returning students are compiled in early April.  Those individuals who have received a Law Alumni Grant must complete a FAFSA and results must be received by April 1.  Failure to adhere to this deadline will result in the loss of the grant.

Individuals who received an Honors-at-Entrance Scholarship will have that scholarship renewed as "estimated" until Spring semester grades are posted.  A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above is required for the renewal of the Honors-at-Entrance Scholarship.

Other scholarships received, that have a renewal clause, have individual requirements.  Please refer to the award letter received to review those requirements.

Second-, third- and fourth-year J.D. students, as well as students seeking other degrees, should contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance at: 773.508.7704; or e-mail: gradfinaid@luc.edu regarding other financial aid matters.
