Non-Discrimination Policy
Non-Discrimination PolicyThe Office of Career Services of Loyola University Chicago School of Law is committed to a policy against discrimination in employment based on sex, sexual orientation, marital or parental status, race, color, religious creed, national origin, age, or disability.
Amelioration Statement
The United States military employment policies discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation. In compliance with the Association of American Law Schools' rules, employers who violate Loyola School of Law's non-discrimination policy are normally denied access to on-campus interviewing facilities. Regrettably, and under the threat of the withdrawal of federal funds to Loyola University Chicago posed by federal law under the Soloman Amendment, Loyola is making a limited exception to the U.S. Armed Forces and JAG. Loyola urges the United States military to reconsider and revise this policy.
