U.S. DOJ Programs
The U.S. Department of Justice will be on campus to discuss their programs on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in Room 1467 (14th floor of 25 E. Pearson). The Department of Justice is seeking applications for its Honors Program and Summer Law Intern Program. The application deadline is September 2, 2008. Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Pro Bono & Community Service Fair
PILI will co-sponsor the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Pro Bono & Community Service Fair on Thursday, October 30, 2008. The fair is being held as part of the 2008 Pro Bono Week sponsored by The Chicago Bar Association and Chicago Bar Foundation. The fair will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the offices of Jenner & Block (330 N. Wabash Avenue). More information will be available on PILI's Pro Bono Initiative website in the coming weeks.
Equal Justice Works 2008 Conference & Career Fair
The Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair is being held in Washington, DC on Friday & Saturday, October 10 & 11, 2008 and will offer its trademark features – a national career fair with employers from across the country interviewing for over 1,500 employment opportunities.
