The Office of Career Services exists to aid law students with the task of finding employment both during school and after graduation. To assist in the job search process, the Office of Career Services offers a wide variety of programs, services, and resources for students.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
Students are encouraged to make an appointment with their career counselor to explore their interests, discuss their job search strategies and potential employment opportunities, or review their resume and/or cover letter.

MOCK INTERVIEWS
If you are preparing for a specific interview, don't forget to set up a mock interview to help polish your interviewing skills. If you are interviewing with a law firm for a law clerk, summer associate, or associate position, set up a mock interview with Marianne Deagle or Jayne Schreiber. If you are interviewing with a public interest organization, government agency, or judge, set up a mock interview with Maureen Kieffer. Mock interviews can be set up by calling 312-915-7160 or emailing law-career@luc.edu.
JOB POSTINGS
New job opportunities are added to Symplicity everyday, so be sure to check frequently! We receive a wide variety of job postings, including law clerk positions, attorney positions, summer internships with public interest organizations and government agencies, and much more.

The Office of Career Services presents a variety of panels and programs for students to attend. From networking receptions to resume & cover letter review programs to the "Loyola Alums in Practice" series, there are always new events being posted on our Upcoming Events page! JOB FAIRS
A large number of job fairs both in Chicago and across the country cater to employment opportunities in specific geographic locations, focused on a particular practice area or practice setting, or geared towards a specific minority group. We offer an extensive list of job fairs, but please note that this list is not exhaustive. See our list of local & national job fairs here.
CSO HANDOUTS
The Office of Career Services publishes a number of handouts designed to help our students and alumni in seeking job opportunities both during and after law school, writing resumes & cover letters, navigating the interview process, and much more. Hard copies of all handouts can be obtained from our office, and PDF versions are available here.
