Resources for Part-time Students

Finding time to plan your legal career can be very difficult as a part-time student. Most of you are overloaded with full-time work, family, and civic responsibilities. In light of these responsibilities, we understand why you often do not make career planning a priority. However, please visit with a career counselor during your first year to evaluate your career objectives and design a career strategy that is right for you. With some thought and planning, you will be ready to gain legal experience during law school, face the legal job market upon graduation, and more likely achieve a satisfying legal career.

We have compiled the information below to acquaint you with the services of the career services office, assist you in acquiring legal work experience while you are in law school, help you plan job search strategies, and help you develop a legal resume and cover letter.
