Past topics include universal coverage, Medicare and Medicaid, safety nets, innovation in delivery systems, and immigration. This event offers continuing legal education for attorneys.
The annual L. Edward Bryant, Jr. National Health Law Transactional Competition seeks to expose law students to the core competencies of the corporate and regulatory practice of health care law. Held each spring, law students from across the country compete by providing legal advice on a potential business opportunity to a hypothetical health care client in a boardroom setting. This event is endowed and named in honor of L. Edward Bryant, Jr., one of the founders of the field of health law.
