Megan Canty Assistant Director of the Center for Advocacy
Biography
Megan Canty joined the School of Law in November 2007 as the Assistant Director of the Advocacy Center. She also serves as Director of the Moot Court Program, as well as a Moot Court coach. While a student at Loyola, she served as the Business Director of the Moot Court Board. Ms. Canty received the Best Oral Advocate Award at the Regional Rounds of the 2006-2007 National Moot Court Competition, where her team won first place, and was a semi-finalist at the National Rounds. She also received the Best Oral Advocate Award at the 2006 National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law. She has interned under the Honorable David M. Lawson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, as well as the Cook County State's Attorney's Office Felony Trial Division.
