Stacey Cischke is a partner with Cassiday Schade LLP. Ms. Cischke concentrates her practice on the representation of physicians, dentists and healthcare institutions. She handles all aspects of litigation and has tried a number of medical malpractice cases to verdict. Ms. Cischke represents several Chicago area teaching hospitals, including Children's Memorial Hospital, the University of Chicago Hospitals and the Advocate system hospitals and physician groups in medical negligence cases.
In addition to her litigation work, Ms. Cischke provides pre-litigation counsel to the firm's healthcare clients to improve understanding and prepare them for responding to discovery during litigation. She has participated in multiple speaking engagements to physicians and administrators, focused on topics such as understanding the defense of birth injury cases, preparing for depositions, and improving reliability in responding to discovery from an institutional standpoint.
Ms. Cischke is a graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University where she graduated with honors and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. During law school, Ms. Cischke was a member of the Thomas Tang Moot Court team and was awarded the honor of Best Brief.
Ms. Cischke serves as a member of the firm's Diversity Committee and is an alumni member of the Dean's Diversity Council for Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
She is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for Northern District of Illinois.
