About

Brandon Liss is an attorney in the Litigation and Employment Law Groups at Fox Swibel Levin & Carroll LLP.  Brandon represents clients in complex commercial and employment litigation matters in federal and state court, as well as in other dispute resolution proceedings.  This includes representative cases involving complex business disputes; allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach of non-competition agreements; wage and hour disputes under federal, state, and local laws; and internal investigations.  In addition, Brandon counsels clients regarding issues affecting the employment relationship such as personnel policies and compliance with federal, state, and local laws in order to prevent litigation.

 

Prior to joining Fox Swibel, Brandon was an associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Norgle, Sr. and the Honorable M. David Weisman, both of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  Before practicing law, Brandon was an associate producer at the Chicago headquarters of one of the world’s largest media agencies, where he developed strategic brand content for clients, including large electronics, software, and confection companies.

 

Brandon is a graduate of The University of Chicago Law School, where he served as a member of the Federal Criminal Justice Clinic representing indigent clients charged with federal crimes. He earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from Northwestern University, where he was also elected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
