Brad Sayles is of counsel in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Nashville office where he practices health care law. He assists clients navigate the highly regulated health care landscape to ensure they are compliant with state and federal laws and industry standards. He works with a wide range of providers from large clinical laboratories, hospice and home health providers, DME suppliers, health systems, physician groups, and long-term care providers to small rural health care entities and individual practitioners.

Mr. Sayles advises clients with respect to government enforcement, compliance, health care fraud and abuse, and general day-to-day operational matters. He has extensive experience with state and federal regulatory compliance, including 340B, PSQIA, HIPAA, conditions of participation and payment. He has worked with clients responding to state and federal investigations, representing clients during False Claims Act litigation including alleged violations of Federal Health Care Program requirements, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, FDA misbranding and offlabel use, and others.

His work in this area spans the entire administrative process, assisting clients with participating in the agency rulemaking process, understanding and complying with agency requirements/regulations, responding to enforcement activities, and representing them through the administrative appeals process.
Mr. Sayles writes often and is a frequent speaker on the topics of health care and administrative law.
