About
After graduation, Professor Perlin worked at the Chicago regional office of the Federal Trade Commission as a staff attorney, primarily in the consumer protection area. In 1983, she joined the Loyola faculty as the legal writing director. In 1987, she became the director of writing programs. She is responsible for the development of the curriculum for the freshman program and the appellate advocacy program, as well as advanced writing courses. She develops the curriculum and materials for the freshman pre-law summer program and the second semester examination-writing clinic. She supervises the Academic Tutor Program and the First-Semester Writing Workshop. She also administers the Great Books Program and lecture series.
