Patrick M. McFadden

Biography
As an undergraduate, Professor McFadden was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received his degree in philosophy summa cum laude. While in law school, he served as an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. He also served as editor-in-chief of the school's humor magazine, and graduated cum laude. After obtaining his degrees in law and foreign service, he practiced in Dallas for two years, specializing in mergers, acquisitions and securities work. After a one-year return to Georgetown, as an adjunct professor and research fellow, he joined the Loyola faculty in 1984. Professor McFadden has served as a Fellow of the American Judicature Society. Prof. McFadden left the full-time faculty of the law school in 2005. He taught International Law and Practice, Property, and Transnational Litigation.
