About

Anthony O'Brien is an Assistant State's Attorney in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. He briefs and argues cases before the Illinois Supreme Court and Illinois Appellate Court; he also supervises briefs prepared by fellow Assistant State's Attorneys and assists colleagues in preparing for oral arguments. Before concentrating on appellate practice, Anthony worked in the trial courts for seven years, prosecuting felony, misdemeanor, and civil tax cases. Anthony was a member of his law school's moot court team.
