About

Mr. Pomerance is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Best Practices Inpatient Care, Ltd. He remains Of Counsel at Kamensky, Rubinstein, Hochman & Delott, where he was a Partner.  He is a nationally recognized health care attorney with over 20 years of experience in assisting clients through the increasingly complex regulation of the health care industry. He primarily counsels doctors, physician organizations, health care businesses and other health care providers in establishing corporate compliance and integrity programs; understanding and coping with government regulation; detecting, preventing, and identifying false claims and potential false claims issues; and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to these areas, he counsels clients in the business of health care and provides advice on legal and ethical issues surrounding the privacy of health care information and the marketing of health care goods and services. Beyond his experience as outside counsel for clients, Mr. Pomerance has served as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Medical Management of America, Inc., a publicly-held medical services company which owned several medical practices, ambulatory surgery centers and a 236-bed hospital in Chicago.
