About

Jonathan Schildt is a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James R. Epstein of the Illinois Appellate Court.  Prior to clerking for Justice Epstein, Jonathan was an associate attorney in intellectual property and general litigation at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.  Immediately after law school, Jon served as a PILI fellow and volunteer attorney at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago.  As a law student, Jon was the editor in chief of the DePaul Law Review and was chosen for Order of the Coif.  During law school, Jon also served as an extern to Amy St. Eve of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Richard Cudahy of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
