About

Tiffany J. Tracy is an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. Presently, Ms. Tracy is working in the Gangs and Narcotics Section. As part of her duties as an AUSA, Ms. Tracy prosecutes various violations of federal law including narcotics and firearms trafficking, child exploitation, bank robbery, white collar fraud, health care fraud, mortgage fraud, and income tax fraud. Ms. Tracy is the Project Safe Childhood Coordinator, and a member of the following task forces and groups: Emergency Kidnapping Group, Anti-Violence and Gang Task Force, and Project Safe Neighborhoods.

Ms. Tracy is an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Since 2002, Ms. Tracy has served as one of the head coaches for Loyola's Corboy Fellowship Mock Trial Program. Ms. Tracy is also a Faculty Member of the Chicago Bar Association College of Trial Advocacy. As a instructor, she teaches attorneys taking accredited continuing legal education courses. Ms. Tracy is an Associate Board Member of the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center for Sexually Abused Children. She has also served as a Guest Instructor of Appellate Advocacy and Trial Advocacy for DePaul University College of Law and John Marshall Law School.

Prior to becoming a federal prosecutor, Ms. Tracy served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Before her clerkship, Ms. Tracy was an Associate for Clausen Miller, P.C. where she litigated product liability, commercial, personal injury, and medical malpractice cases. Ms. Tracy received her Juris Doctor in 2002 from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in 1999 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
