Matthew J. Adair
Biography
Matthew J. Adair is an associate at Cooney and Conway, where he specializes in cases involving asbestos related illnesses, including mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis. In addition to his asbestos work, he has experience across a broad range of civil trial matters, including product liability, construction negligence, premise liability, and motor vehicle negligence. Prior to joining Cooney and Conway, Matt was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Terrence J. Lavin of the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. As a law student, Matt was Chief Justice of Loyola's Moot Court and Appellate Advocacy Honors Program, as well as a competitor on the school's Jessup moot court team. Since graduating, Matt has stayed involved at Loyola by serving as a coach for the Jessup moot court team and participating on Loyola's Young Alumni Events Committee.
