Frances M. Carroll
Biography
Frances M. Carroll serves as a Corporate Compliance and Privacy Officer for The Joint Commission, where she directs activities to prevent and respond to any allegations of unlawful, unethical, unfair, or any other business conduct which could damage the integrity of The Joint Commission and JCR. She is responsible for the on-going activities covering the privacy of, and access to, protected health information, personnel privacy and the confidentiality of, and access to, any confidential information of The Joint Commission. She additionally serves as staff attorney in the legal department performing contract drafting and review, supporting committee work, hearing review panels and other legal duties as assigned. Ms. Carroll is also a Physician Assistant, a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Health Care Compliance Association and on the Board of the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys.
