Matthew D. Cohen
Biography
Matthew D. Cohen has extensive expreience in health care and mental health law, and is also well known for his work in special education law. He has been engaged contontinously in the private practice of law since graduating from law school, and he served as the Executive Director and Corporate Counsel of a large psychiatric services corporation from 1985 to 1990. He is the primary or collaborating author of several amendments to the mental health and special education laws of Illinois, and he has lectured nationally on these subjects. He is active in many professional organizations in the areas of his expertise.
