Kyle P. De Jong

 

Biography
Kyle De Jong is a Staff Attorney for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. As a Staff Attorney, Mr. De Jong investigates possible violations of the federal securities laws and prosecutes the Commission's civil suits in federal court and administrative proceedings. Before joining the Commission, Mr. De Jong was a litigation associate in Winston & Strawn's Chicago office whose practice focused on complex commercial litigation, securities fraud, class actions, and white-collar defense. Mr. De Jong was a member of the trial and appellate teams that represented former Illinois Governor George H. Ryan in a six-month public corruption trial, and argued a successful appeal before the Illinois Appellate Court regarding Governor Ryan's pension. Mr. De Jong received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Calvin College, and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan.
