Thresea Duckett
Biography
Theresa Duckett is an associate attorney with the law firm Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, LLP, where she focuses her practice on environmental law and business litigation. Theresa has also successfully advocated as pro bono counsel on behalf of asylum seekers from Latin American and African nations in Immigration Court.
Before joining Locke Lord, Theresa was a Public Interest Law Initiative Legal Fellow and Legal Intern for the Better Government Association. While at Tulane University School of Law, where she earned a concentration in Environmental Law, Theresa was Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal. Theresa was a judicial extern for the Honorable Carl J. Barbier, United States District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana during law school. Prior to law school, Theresa was a parliamentary intern with the Seanad Éireann in Dublin, Ireland.
