James J. Dvorak

 

Biography
James J. Dvorak currently serves as a staff attorney for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to his present position, Mr. Dvorak served as an elbow clerk to the Honorable John W. Darrah of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as a law clerk in the Fourth and First District Appellate Court of Illinois.

Mr. Dvorak graduated magna cum laude from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1999. While at Northern, he served as Chief Justice of the NIU Moot Court Society and as an editor of the law review. Mr. Dvorak was a member of the winning team and received the award for best brief and final round best oralist in the 1998 NIU College of Law Prize Moot Court Competition. Mr. Dvorak also represented NIU at the 1999 John Marshal External Moot Court Competition. In 1999, Mr. Dvorak received the Greatest Contribution to Advocacy Programs Award for his contribution to advocacy programs at the NIU College of Law.
