William X. Elward

 

Biography
William X. Elward is an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois in the Criminal Trials Bureau, where he prosecutes conflict cases for other Illinois prosecutor's offices and assists in complicated criminal cases. While in law school, he was the best oralist in the Intra-School Moot Court Competition, and he represented Loyola in the National Moot Court Competition and the National Mock Trial Competition. Prior to joining the Attorney General's Office, he was an Assistant State Attorney in Dade County, Florida, and an Assistant State's Attorney in DuPage County, Illinois. He has been an instructor in Loyola's Trial Practice Program and for NITA.
