Lisa Fontana Brennan

 

Biography
Lisa Fontana Brennan is an senior claims attorney at Markel Shand, Inc. where she manages professional liability and employment law claims. Prior to joining Markel Shand, she was an associate at Clausen Miller where her practice included products liability, premises liability, construction litigation, and medical malpractice. Professor Brennan received her law degree from Loyola University Chicago, where she tutored first-year students in legal writing and was active in Loyola's moot court program. At the National Juvenile Moot Court Competition, she won first place oralist and her team advanced to the semi-final round. She was also a member of Loyola's National Moot Court team that won first place at the regional competition in Indianapolis and advanced to the national competition in New York City. Professor Brennan was a co-justice on Loyola's Moot Court Board. Prior to attending law school, she was an elementary special education teacher with Teach for America in Louisiana.
