Amy Gertler
Biography
Amy Gertler a partner at Nadler, Pritikin & Mirabelli has devoted twenty years exclusively to the unique area of family law. She manages the firm’s Lake County office.
In addition to receiving certification of Basic Divorce Mediation Training from the Mediation Training and Consultation Institute, Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ms. Gertler has been approved for certification to represent minor children in the Domestic Relations Division in the Circuit Court of Cook County and represents minor children in Lake County, as well. Ms. Gertler is a strong proponent of alternative dispute resolution and has received advanced training in Collaborative Divorce Law and has joined a growing number of matrimonial law attorneys who are committed to assisting families in the resolution of legal disputes by providing legal services in a compassionate, efficient, and highly competent manner. Additionally, Ms. Gertler provides comprehensive divorce consultation for individuals at various stages of the divorce process.
Ms. Gertler maintains memberships in the Lake County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She has been a guest speaker at various seminars about divorce, lectured before the Chicago Bar Association and Lake County Bar on the subject of family law, and has published in the Docket, a Lake County journal, on the subject of representing minors in contested custody cases.
