Maureen L. Hager, Ed.D.

 

Biography
Maureen Hager has worked in private and public education for thirty-six years, twenty-two of those years as an administrator in public education, including thirteen years as a superintendent of schools. Dr. Hager has a strong interest in early childhood education and intervention and participated in the development of successful federal legislation related to impact aid and state legislation allowing for property taxes on previously untaxed federal land. In addition to superintendent duties, Dr. Hager has also participated in the development and mentoring of superintendent candidates.

Dr. Hager volunteers as a board member and officer of a community mental health center, board member and committee chair of a professional foundation, board member of a community based capital campaign effort and an active supporter of a private foundation for academically promising, but economically challenged scholars.
