James T. Hynes


Biography
James T. Hynes is in the private practice of law with his own firm, The Law Offices of James T. Hynes in Niles, Illinois. His practice concentrates on litigation in both the Federal and State trial and appellate courts. Immediately prior to entering private practice in 1993, he was Director of State Government Affairs for Waste Management, Inc. for two years and Deputy General Counsel for Waste Management of North America for four years. From 1976 to 1986 he was an Assistant United States Attorney in Chicago, and was Chief of the Civil Division in that office from 1983 through 1986. He has been an elected Commissioner for the Niles Park District since 1997, currently sits on the Board of Advisors for Visitation School in Chicago and is a member of the Four Stars of Chicago Executive Committee for the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
