Erin Kennedy Ryan

 

Biography
Erin Kennedy Ryan is an associate in the Corporate Restructuring group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Ms. Ryan previously clerked for the Honorable Judge Carol Doyle, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Illinois. She is currently active in the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.

During law school at Loyola, Ms. Ryan was a member of the Student Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Team, the Children's Legal Rights Journal, and served as a legal writing tutor for two years. Ms. Ryan was also active in the Community Law Center while at Loyola, and returned to the Center as a PILI Fellow during the summer following her graduation. In addition, Ms. Ryan served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Peter C. Economus in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
