Dorene A. Kuffer

 

Biography
Dorene A. Kuffer was the Public Defender of Champaign County, Illinois before assuming her present position. She has practiced law as an Assistant Public Defender, Assistant State's Attorney, and private practitioner throughout the state of Illinois. In those positions, she represented both children and parents in delinquency, abuse and neglect, and domestic relations cases. She is Regional Vice Chair of the Juvenile Justice Committee of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
