Patricia Kuszler

Biography

Professor Kuszler is the Charles I. Stone Professor of Law and the Director of the Center for Law, Science and Global Health at the University of Washington School of Law. The center's major components include the J.D. concentration track in health law; major collaborations with the UW Institute for Public Health Genetics, the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, and the Global Health and Justice Project; a J.D./M.H.A.  and two J.D./M.P.H. concurrent programs and a variety of grant-funded multidisciplinary research and teaching projects.

Professor Kuszler is the Principal Investigator of the International Biomedical Research Ethics Fellowship Grant and Co-Primary Investigator of the Center for Genomics and Healthcare Equality funded by the National Human Genome Research Institute. In addition to her law faculty appointment, Professor Kuszler is an Adjunct Professor in the UW School of Medicine (Department of Bioethics and Humanities) and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health (Department of Health Services).
