C. Frederick LeBaron, Jr.
Biography
C. Frederick LeBaron, Jr. is Head of Faculty Services and Collection Development at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law Library. Professor LeBaron also teaches first year legal research at the law school as well as legal research at Loyola's Institute for Paralegal Studies. After earning his master's degree in library science, he worked in the Law Library at the University of Michigan and as the director of a public library in Jenison, Michigan, before starting law school. In law school, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Indiana Law Journal. After graduating, he served as law clerk to Judge Wilbur F. Pell, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, and then worked in a variety of Chicago-based law firms and corporations before returning to librarianship, at Loyola.
