John P. Marren
Biography
Professor Marren is a partner at the Chicago law firm of Hogan Marren, Ltd. He has more than 25 years experience in health care, including ten years of hospital administrative experience prior to becoming an attorney. He has provided general counsel representation to hospitals and medical groups and is active in the formation of physician/hospital affiliations, hospital affiliations, mergers and acquisitions, system and network development and the development of HMO's and PPO's. Mr. Marren received his law degree from Loyola and his bachelor's degree from St. Xavier University. He is frequently asked to speak regarding various health and health care legal issues and has authored numerous articles. In addition to teaching at Loyola, Mr. Marren is also an adjunct faculty member at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
