Geoffrey Meyer

Biography
Geoffrey Meyer currently serves as law clerk for the Honorable James B. Moran in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  Prior to this position he worked for two years as a staff attorney at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.  His first year as a staff attorney was spent working on various appeals, including employment discrimination, criminal law, immigration law, and agency review.  During his second year he worked in the court's motions unit preparing the judges to rule on substantive motions in pending appeals.  As a law student he completed externships with the United States Immigration Court in Arlington, Virginia and the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  Before he attended law school he successfully completed the Certified Public Account Examination and worked as an accountant and financial analyst.
