John D. Mitchell

Biography
John D. Mitchell is a Senior Attorney at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Enforcement. As a Senior Attorney, John investigates violations of the federal securities laws and prosecutes the Commission's civil suits in federal courts throughout the United States. Prior to joining the SEC, John was an associate attorney at the law firm of Locke Lord LLP, where he was a member of the firm's Litigation Department and Appellate Practice Group. John began his legal career by serving as a law clerk to the Honorable John P. Tully, Illinois Appellate Court, First District.
