Sari W. Montgomery

 

Biography
Sari Montgomery practiced for eleven years as litigation counsel and senior litigation counsel for the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois, during which time she conducted hundreds of investigations and prosecuted more than fifty disciplinary cases before the Hearing Board of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission and the Illinois Supreme Court.

Sari has also served as a contract attorney for the Juvenile Division of the Lake County Public Defender, representing juveniles in misdemeanor and felony delinquency proceedings from arraignment through disposition. Sari currently assists in defending attorneys against disciplinary charges and performs research in the field of Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association, and was appointed to serve on the ISBA Comnmittee on Professional Conduct. Sari also volunteers her time on the boards of several community-based non-profit organizations.
