Christopher E. Paetsch

 

Biography
Christopher E. Paetsch is a partner with the law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where his practice concentrates on intellectual property and commercial litigation. He has practiced before state and federal courts across the country, at both the trial and appellate levels. He has significant experience in seeking and defending against emergency injunctive relief, in the forms of temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions -- situations which place particular emphasis on the ability to quickly assess, organize and deliver persuasive arguments. He has been involved in developing and delivering Seyfarth Shaw's writing and training programs for associates. He has judged numerous moot court competitions, authored several articles on trade secrets law and practice, and was honored as a 2008 "Rising Star" by Illinois Super Lawyers. He has also taught Advanced Copyright Law.

J.D. with honors, Michigan, 1995
