Aaron R. Petty

 

Biography
Aaron Petty is a staff law clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, where he handles a variety of cases including employment discrimination, bankruptcy, immigration, criminal appeals, civil rights, and habeas corpus. During law school Aaron was the Managing Articles Editor for the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform and a member of the Henry M. Campbell Moot Court Board, as well as a judicial intern for Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Justice Robert P. Young, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Michigan. Aaron is also the author of a number of law review articles that focus primarily on civil remedies and on the Sixth Amendment's confrontation clause.
