Philip E. Police
 

Biography
Philip E. Police is a Deputy Senior Staff Attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit where he supervises staff law clerks who work for all judges on the court. He joined the court in 1998 after nine years as an assistant U.S. attorney in San Antonio, Texas. As a prosecutor he focused on white-collar trial work and also represented the government as appellate counsel in more than 120 cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He also served briefly with Independent Counsel David M. Barrett while on leave from the U.S. Attorney's Office. After law school he worked as a staff law clerk at the Fifth Circuit.

J.D., magna cum laude, University of Illinois, 1987
