Important Information for Part-Time Faculty: Disciplinary Matters

What if I suspect that a student is engaging in unprofessional conduct?

Loyola views its students as prospective members of the bar and expects them to maintain the same high level of integrity and conduct that one would expect from a member of the practicing bar. After more than two years of research and deliberation, a committee of students, faculty and staff completed Loyola's Code of Student Conduct which defines prohibited conduct and sets forth the rules of procedure for dealing with violations. All students are given a copy of the Code when they enter Loyola and it's available on-line. Students are expected to be familiar with it.

The Code sets forth the procedure for making reports of violations. All reports should be made to Jim Faught, the Associate Dean for Administration, in Room 1477. If you have a concern or a question that may involve student conduct, you can call Jim at 915-7131, leave a written message, write him an e-mail at jfaught@luc.edu or come see him.
