Robert Leighton

 

Biography
Robert Leighton is a registered patent attorney and an associate with the law firm Sidley Austin LLP, where he is engaged in all areas of intellectual property litigation. Robert’s practice focuses on patent litigation, including ITC section 337 matters, and appellate practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Robert received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. At Loyola, Robert was a Chicago Intellectual Property Colloquium fellow and an editor on the Loyola Law Journal.

Robert received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005.
