Dina B. Ross
Biography
Ms. Ross's practice is focused on advising and assisting clients in identifying and protecting their intellectual property, and on information technology, Internet, e-commerce, and general commercial transactions in a variety of industries, including health care and telecommunications.
Dina's experience includes negotiating and drafting agreements and advising clients with respect to the acquisition, development, licensing, marketing, distribution and support of information technology; strategic sourcing, outsourcing; information technology policies; electronic security policies; consulting and employment arrangements; strategic alliance agreements; due diligence; technology transfers; website related agreements and the formation, financing, and governance of business entities. She also counsels clients on intellectual property and business implications of technology deals.
Ms. Ross is a frequent speaker on topics of interest to the information technology community, and an adjunct faculty member of Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. She is a member of the board of the Greater Chicagoland Health Information Management System Society, and a member of the American Bar Association's Section on Science and Technology, the University of Chicago Women's Business Group and the Chicago Bar Association.
Prior to practicing law, Dina received an MBA from the University of Chicago and worked as a financial and strategic analyst.
When not assisting clients, Dina is an active member of the board of directors of Chefs For Humanity (www.chefsforhumanity.org), an adjunct faculty member of Loyola University of Chicago Law School and the founder of and active in PAGE97.
