Julie K. Schaff

Biography
Julie K. Schaff works in Student Affairs, serving as an academic advisor and working with the extern program.  She has also served as Director of the Moot Court Program and has coached both the Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court team and the National Moot Court Team.

Prior to returning to Loyola, Ms. Schaff worked in public service and also in civil litigation at a medical malpractice defense firm. While in law school, Ms. Schaff externed for the Honorable William Hibbler in the Northern District of Illinois, and upon graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Mary Anne Mason in Chancery Division of Circuit Court of Cook County. She won, with her teammates, the 2002 Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition. She also won, with her teammate, both the 2003 Thomas Tang Midwest Regionals and Thomas Tang National Moot Court Competitions and received Best Brief honors at the National competition and Best Oralist honors in the final round. Ms. Schaff was Chief Justice of Loyola's Moot Court Board. Prior to attending law school, she interned in the White House during the Clinton administration and interned for Representative Anne Northup of Kentucky in the U.S. Congress.
