Biography
Andrew Vrabel is an attorney with CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange.  At CME, Andrew works in the Market Regulation Department as an in-house prosecutor.  In that role, he enforces compliance with internal trading rules and federal regulations by working with investigators to build cases against members for rule violations and then litigating those cases before committees of the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Prior to joining CME Group, Andrew was an Assistant State's Attorney with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. As an A.S.A., Andrew tried more than one hundred and fifty bench and jury trials, wrote more than two-dozen appellate briefs and argued multiple cases before the First District Appellate Court of Illinois. While in law school, Andrew and his partner won Loyola's intra-school moot court competition. He also was a member of the National Moot Court Team and a senior editor of the Annals of Health Law.
