Maria L. Whiteman
Biography
Maria L. Whiteman is currently corporate counsel for Hyatt Corporation. Prior to joining Hyatt, Maria was an associate at Ungaretti & Harris. During her years in private practice, Maria drafted several appellate briefs. While in law school, she and her teammates won the Best Brief and First Place Team awards in the Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition and the Best Brief award in the Loyola Intra-School Moot Court Competition. She was also a member of the National Moot Court Team for Loyola that finished among the top 16 teams in the nation in 2002. In her present position, she practices corporate, franchise and real estate law.
