Elaine C. Zacharakis
Biography
Elaine C. Zacharakis serves as Corporate Counsel for Baxter Healthcare Corporation where she was a Business Unit Attorney in the renal division. Prior to that, Ms. Zacharakis was a practicing attorney in the specialties of Health Care and Intellectual Property at Gardner, Carton & Douglas; McDermott, Will & Emery; and Hinman, Straub, Pigors & Manning. She has been nominated as Vice Chair of the E-Health Committee of the ABA Health Law Committee Coordinating Group and is currently Vice Chair of the YLD Health Law Committee. She is also on the planning board of the GCC Health Information Management Society and is a member of the AHLA Health Information Technology Committee.
